We were driving thru and stopped her on our way out and back in and it was excellent both times. It’s a ma and pa kind of feel with home cooking but excellent flavor and choices. They had great espresso and cheesecake, Ruben, sweet potato fries, and burgers! We both loved both our meals. Good prices too! This place has home made pie cheesecake and soup and ice cream it’s overall really great. We were impressed :) two thumbs up
We had intended to visit another restaurant but it wasn't open. The menu was a little different than what is on line. We got a brisket sandwich which was amazing, but the burger was way over cooked and dry, and the bun was toasted too much for my liking. Just a personal preference. All in all a decent experience. Not sure I would get a burger if I were to go back but they smoke their own brisket so that's a plus.
We are from Indiana and Kentucky. We have been on the road for 2 days and this place has the best food, service and the inside was nice and cozy. Definitely recommend going to High Plains Restaurant if you are in the area.
