Stopped in late on 9/11 when they were closing. Young, tall native man wearing a mask was working the counter and was exceptionally personable and attentive. Went out of his way to strike up a conversation and small talk. He put forth a lot of effort and that’s rare now days. We talked about the stock market and investments briefly as I was waiting for my food. Put me in a great mood to see how hard he was trying to make my day a little brighter. Didn’t catch his name but...
The people are nice, rest of the food was fine. But oh man-I have been waiting years for ham to come back just to have a sliders worth of meat on a full size burnt bun, and the cheese smeared on the wrapper. We were traveling so we didn't have time to stop and complain.
Desiree was our cashier. She was friendly and asked about our travels. We enjoyed chatting with her for a few seconds as it was very busy. We ordered chicken sandwiches. They were hot, fresh and delicious.
