This is an old fashioned donut stop with the old diner bar setup. It's a basic setup but worth the stop. The locals at our end of the bar were as welcoming, engaging and friendly as the staff. The donuts were amazing! We had our first order and then ordered extras for the next day.

I started going to Ralph's while a student at Tennessee Tech many years ago and still make a point to stop in whenever I pass through Cookeville. As many others have said, the doughnuts are delicious and the employees are friendly. Some of my favorites are the red velvet, sour cream, ladyfingers (amazing but not really a doughnut!) and the seasonal pumpkin spice. I do wish they would label the doughnuts. It would be helpful both to customers and employees. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Although I live in Michigan, I have visited Ralph's Donut shop for over 60 years. Every time I'm even close to Tennessee, I make my way there. I had traveled all over the country and I truly believe they are the best donuts in the USA.

Still thinking about those donuts…… Don’t miss this donut stop. We tried the butter twist, the Boston creme, blueberry and chocolate iced. The Boston creme was real custard.

Delicious donuts! The butter twists are phenomenal but all are good! We got a variety plus 2 chess bars. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend this stop on your journey through Tennessee.

I went here on a Saturday morning early. It was easy to find the shop. I was the only person inside for a few minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the donuts and the area as I was visiting here for the first time. I tried several of the donuts. They were all really good but my favorites were the apple fritter and butter twist.I will go here again if I am in the area.

Well worth a visit to this donut shop. The staff was so friendly and helpful. So glad we tried the chess squares, simply amazing!! There are so many donuts to choose from, they all looked delicious. We will be back on our way home!

Staff was incredibly friendly! Several employees were engaging customers and every one of them were kind. My server helped me choose from all the delicious options. The donuts themselves were soft and delicious. I really enjoyed the fruit bar. Not exactly a donut, but it was unexpected and tasted great!
Stopped at the little donut shop in Cookeville our son kept telling us about. OMGosh finally a real bakery with donuts and other fantastic selections. My first real cream horn in too many years to mention and it was better than I remembered. The apple fritter is huge. The request given was for the butter twists and the sprinkle donuts. Ordered a little of some things and a lot of the twists, cream horns and fritters. It was breakfast, lunch and snack on way back to Knoxville. Met the owners and they were so nice. Can't wait to go back......

What’s not to love?!?! Wonderful fresh selection of donuts!! Small dining area. Large old fashioned bakery case is filled with amazing selection. Closed on Mondays.

Many varieties..Interesting, good pricing! Downside for our visit was that they were overdue changing their fryer oil :( Could taste that "old used" oil!!

We had to try the #1 donut shop in TN. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Very friendly and local hometown feel. He told us what donuts we needed to try and also pointed out some other local restaurants we needed to try. Very helpful.
