Superb food with exceptional service! The retro feel and cleanliness adds even more stars! Should be listed on Trip Advisor and also add a billboard on the highway.
Ordered the Kenny burger š š Finally a place with decent beef and NOT school cafeteria soy burgers. Onion rings and my son's fries were fried to crispy, caramelized perfection. Will Def come back every year with my son.
Stopped here before closing on a Saturday night. We are in the area visiting from Omaha. The chili was great. Full of flavor. The broasted chicken was nice. Great bang for your buck.
Awesome chicken
Owner operated and amazing home cooked meals! I have to admit a large strawberry banana milk shake is the best!!!

We popped in at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon on our way to a wedding. Had a great conversation with the owners. We tried the famous chicken salad and potato salad. Both homemade and WOW amazing. Several dressings are homemade. Locals buy the dressing and salad buy the pints. They make their own chai tea blend and it's by far the best we have had!!

We are somewhat irregular guests here (several+ times a year). Service is Acceptable (very busy kitchen with carryout), good food (regardless of what you choose), along with an exceptional potato salad, & fried chicken (they seem to sell a lot of it). Expect to pay around $7-12 per meal/person (with a soda or 2). A place you cannot go wrong with stopping at, (especially with the limited choices between Mitchell, SD, & the Nebraska border along SD-37).
Great little small town (old school) cafe! Friendly staff, amazing food and amazing prices. Iām glad we were able to find a great place to eat on our way home to Sioux Falls
