Went to both restaurants in the past 7 days. Enjoyed both. Service in Mitchell was faster, but food was excellent in both locations! Had the Ron's Pile with salad and lemonade. Will have that again!
Two to three times a year when we are in Pierre our group of 5-10 people always go to Cattleman’s at least once…But not anymore. On our most recent visit we had the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. It started with slow service, which we didn’t have a huge issue with because we had drinks and were having a conversation. We had high hopes for this place but were completely disappointed. Our server was sweet at the bar but what was disconcerting is the fact that employees eat behind bar and never wash their hands. When mentioned to management we were shrugged off like I don’t care what you think. Do not waste your money.
