Honestly the best distillery I have ever been too. They make every one of the products we tried, none of that buying other people’s bourbon and marketing it as yours. I tasted ten things. A clear bourbon, blended, oated, vodka, rum, brandy, gin, a salted Carmel bourbon, a cask strength bourbon that is still in the casks aging, a 12 year old brandy that is still in the cask. There was no charge for the tasting and one of the brothers and the master distiller regaled us with stories of making the bourbon as they poured us our tastings. I bought 3 bottles but honestly would have been happy with a bottle of any of the ten items. If you like bourbon then this place is a must.
Why are you closed on a Saturday
Awesome tour, incredible work done to make absolutely fantastic whiskey! I also enjoyed the Pheasant vodka. We left after tasting, with 4 bottles of whiskey (3 different varieties) and one bottle of vodka. What a great find!
Great award winning spirits and conversations with manager about the origins of the distillery and area.
Very good and very knowledgeable

This business is worth 5 stars with Brett Hansen at the wheel. He has single-handedly blown the dust off of it and made it relevant again. Without him it would only get one brown tainted star.
Definitely worth checking out. Bickering Brothers or Dakota Spirit Distillery is a must see local attraction. If you just want to check out how Whiskey is made or have a great conversation with the local Distiller or try any of their fabulous products (Whiskey, Vodka, Brandy or Coyote 100) stop by. We had a great time touring the facility, learning the whole process and of course trying some of the different products that they make. Ended up buying a few bottles to share with friends. I highly recommend the Whiskey.
