Truly one of the worst dining experiences we've had in town.Went in on a Saturday evening with a family group of 7.We never did get asked if we would like drinks, we were rushed through our order and literally told "Okay, times up!" when my husband couldn't decide what to have. (Was told they didn't have mole that night and had to choose something else last minute) When he didn't immediately make up his mind, the owner huffed and walked completely away from him, coming back again a few minutes later to say he needed to order. I couldn't believe how rude he was from the very get-go. We wanted to get up and leave right then but were with a friend family who had already ordered and didn't want to make a scene..We received our food, which was decent (by no means worth the money paid). The pozole was a huge disappointment. Wilted, brown lettuce chopped up on the side rather than radish, lime, shaved cabbage, cilantro, etc?Absolutely not worth $25.We were not asked how anything was, we waited 30 minutes for 8oz refills of warm water and two of us got skipped and had to flag him down for more water. It's so noisy, hot and unventilated in that building that sitting there is uncomfortable through the meal. There are no non-alcoholic options for drinks. There is no ice served with water. The salsa is great, so I'll give points for that.Aside from the fat shaming, rude comments I've heard he makes to customers, I was really hoping i could give it another shot and that some years after being around, things would feel nicer, like maybe it would feel like being home on the west coast where their taquerias are worth raving over.Hoping it would feel welcoming...It didn't. Even the family we were with that are semi-regulars there said there was definitely something wrong with the way things went and apologized for suggesting Gallo's for our gathering.I think that speaks volumes. There was no warmth from him through the whole experience. There was no friendliness or patience toward his customers and certainly no apologies for the wait, the rushing our order, the lack of service or the fact they didn't have menu items available.Ultimately, we were treated as a major inconvenience and paid $80 for 3 people to walk away sorely disappointed with the food AND the service. Not cool.I will never spend my hard earned money there again.

Everything I've tried here has been delicious, but my go to is definitely the Burro Mojado... Asada with half Red and half Green sauce. ?. The ONLY negative thing I have to say about the place is the water cups are soooo incredibly tiny!! ?. Food is great, service is great...

The authentic Mexican food is amazing! Prices are a bit high but worth it if you're looking for something that reminds you of your time in Mexico.

Antonio is the best. He'll talk to you, makes great tacos. When I told him how much I liked the salsa, he brought out another special one from the back. Great tacos and general atmosphere ?

This restaurant had no electricity in the bathroom, leaking water coming from the ceiling vent, and an inch of water to stand in the ladies restroom. My daughter had to come hold a cell phone light to see in there. We should have left at that point, but did not. The waiter/owner told us to order quickly as we were the last to be served. It was 7:30 pm. He explained they had been slammed all day and he had to wake at 5 am the next morning to travel to Sioux Falls to get food for this restaurant. Our food arrived fast at the table. For our steak fajitas, there were no more than 4 little strips of steak with very small portions. The owner then came back to our table to ask how we would pay. My husband gave him a credit card. The two meals of steak fajitas and our daughters tostados came to over $65!! The owner then came back to table with receipt to sign and told us he is kicking us out. He had to get up early and needed to close. He then insisted that he give me and my daughter hugs and give his restaurant a great review. He gave my husband a handshake. Rediculous!! We will never be back! I would not recommend to anyone!
