“We stopped in at this local community coffee shop while passing through Pine Ridge on a road trip. We enjoyed a coffee and an enormous homemade blueberry muffin that was so fresh and delicious. Another group ordered smoothies that looked absolutely amazing. The lunch options also looked delicious and we would have eaten if it had been the right time of day. This felt like a great local business to support. Highly recommended!”

Don’t let the humble exterior fool you—Fireside Inn is a true hidden gem. Tucked away in a very small town on the reservation, this place is clearly a local favorite and run with heart. The woman managing the establishment was incredibly kind and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home.

Inside, everything was clean, cozy, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where locals gather, and during our visit, we saw several members of the Lakota community come in to dine. There’s something special about being welcomed into a space that clearly means something to the people who live there.

The food? Absolutely fantastic. Every bite was delicious, and the coffee was hot and served with real cream—none of those little plastic cups. It's a small detail, but one that made a big difference.

Honestly, from the outside, we might have passed this place by—and that would have been a big mistake. If you're passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. You'll be glad you did”
