Higher Ground Coffee Shop

We stopped in at this local community coffee shop while passing through Pine Ridge on a road trip. We enjoyed a coffee and an enormous homemade blueberry muffin that was so fresh and delicious. Another group ordered smoothies that looked absolutely amazing. The lunch options also looked delicious and we would have eaten if it had been the right time of day. This felt like a great local business to support. Highly recommended!

We visited Pine Ridge today, and stopped here first for a coffee. Both my Caramel Macchiato and my husband's Mayan Mocha were excellent and full of flavor. I can't have dairy, but they had oat milk and subbed a dairy free caramel flavoring. It is a comfortable atmosphere, and we enjoyed relaxing and reading the Lakota Times. In fact, before we left town we stopped in again for a couple of smoothies (Mango Pineapple, yum) and Sunrise Surprise. My husband got a muffin and said it was one of the best he'd ever had.

Stopped in for some frappes and iced chai, after grabbing breakfast burritos from local vendors. Cute coffee shop nestled away on the main st drive. The have a nice selection of coffee and tea to choose from, and must stop and shop! Quick and friendly service and awesome fresh baked tasties!!! A must stop, if you're on a long road trip.

I love visiting this coffee shop when I’m in town! My favorite is the Oreo Frappe. They have really good muffins and cookies too. I wish I could get it all the time.

I’m new to Pine Ridge. I know I’m an outsider. But this was the most home feeling place I’ve visited yet. The drinks are delicious the food is good & they are so nice.

Wow fantastisch leuke coffee shop! Goede koffie met liefde en aandacht gemaakt. Zeer fijne sfeer binnen. Het voelt als een woonkamer. Rustige muziek op de achtergrond, fijne zitjes, zeer schoon toilet. Er is airconditioning. Parkeren kan direct achter de coffeeshop. Er zijn ook smoothies, eten en verschillende soorten koffie en sofa’s te krijgen. Helaas zijn wij op doorreis en is dit een eenmalig bezoek. Maar mochten we ooit weer in de buurt zijn dan komen wij weer!

Fantastic coffee shop - service is great, food and drinks are well made and high quality. It’s great to have a cafe on the Rez that one can reliably work from. Will be leveraging this cafe to work remote so I can stay on the Rez longer. Highly recommend!
