We ate their white on a trip recently. It came recommended by a few local people. Said good food for reasonable prices. And it was really good!I had the pork chop dinner, my husband had a fish sandwich, both with a salad bar. All the salads were homemade and fresh, lots of good ones to choose from. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of good food for a very good price.$$. Will be back!

Understanding that they have limited staffing available I was disappointed to be met with a disgruntled employee when I called in to place my order to go. I was told it’d be ready in 20 minutes, and upon arriving I waited an additional 10 to pay for and receive my meal. It’s truly unfortunate to have such a poor experience in a small town; it was so bad the guys next to me stated “I see them looking at you but I don’t think they’re coming.” After finally getting my food it was not what I expected. I had ordered a steak sandwich and as you can see in the image attached I instead got a small well done steak, fries and a piece of toast. To anyone looking for a great alternative option in the area for lunch, I highly recommend going to the sale barn. I know it sounds like a strange place for a meal but their staff and meal are exceptional every time.

A clean, updated local community restaurant that served a hot dish for a quick stop. A local favorite appeared to be the bacon cheeseburger. A healthy sized burger that was very affordable. Not your place if you are looking for a vegetarian bite. Give it a try if you are in the area, you shouldn't be disappointed.

I have eaten at Shortys a few times and have had mostly decent service. Unfortunately today I went with 2 other people and we sat for one hour after ordering. The waitress did not come back to check on us, refill water, or address the wait. Eventually after two tables were served who came in after us, we walked out. We told the waitress to cancel our order as we had been waiting for an hour and she was rude and obviously did not care that we left or received poor service. It had been busy when we got there, so understandable for a wait… but an hour and the disregard for customer service was very disappointing.
