Awesome food! We got to meet the new chef!! Food is amazing and beautifully presented!! Highly recommend the Safari Bar and Grill for food and drink!! Kudos!
I met my husband here 10+ years ago, . Now 4 kids later and a cpl moves later, we see ourselves going back monthly. The adult menu is what brings us in. All the sandwiches and salads are great! Kids menu could do better. (Mac & cheese has no flavor, and corn dogs are always burnt) but my kids power thru and eat them. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you’re a local and they can remember your drink of choice as you walk thru the door. The last 3 out of 4 times we’ve been in the service was rude, took a long time to bring us a refill or to go box. And during each visit there’s at most 5 other tables with someone sitting at. So not busy. Summers are busier. We were there this past Father’s Day- everyone at our table received their meal, and my husband waited until we almost finished our meals before his food showed up. The server said- “I don’t know, we bring it out as it comes.” This poor teenaged boy had no response as it truly wasn’t his fault someone took the meal for another father. If you want good bar food, go eat there…BUT please be aware of poor service.
Good food, Great service, friendly people.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, next to the best convenience store! The Safari has a wide variety of to choose from. I highly recommend the hamburger steak. The taste and quality of the meat is exceptional.
Ate there yesterday for lunch. They served my chislic and fries cold. Wasn't asked how it was so I ate it cold. Very disappointing considering we waited for approximately 40 minutes for our food.

Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Great selection on the menu, and all the meat is fresh and comes from their on-site processing plant.

Employee to customer focused with interaction specific activities (dice board) and attentive staff. Food came out before I finished my beer which is an unofficial timer anywhere you go. Observed staff using great food safety practices and understanding of dietary needs. Goober burger was great, was apprehensive about putting my own peanut butter on but considering allergens being limited in the kitchen it's a good call. Observed teamwork in the kitchen from best I could tell. Definitely stop here if you're staying north side of town to avoid downtown parking nightmares

Food is good , alittle slow for a lunch spot during a break or something but I like it might be more of a dinner deal

Every staff member here treats us like part of the family. Always good food, has some Ribeye steak last night that was comparable to Texas Road house.

Safari Bar and Grill has amazing burgers and atmosphere. I had the Southwest Burger with Buffalo Chips...Habanero Chz Curds to start. The price isn't too bad, but the quality of meat is amazing. This place isn't for vegans!
I come to Sioux Falls every year for week to work and go to Safari Bar and Grill. I try to go couple times here to eat. I always get great service and great food. I had their Bacon Double Cheese Burger and Tater Tots. Tasted great and lots of food.

So I've eaten here many times. Historically, it has been surprisingly good. This time though it just didn't hold up to the food that they usually serve here. We ordered the chislic medium rare, and it was unfortunately well done which my wife won't even eat so she ended up just tossing the whole thing. I ordered the fish and chips, thinking that would be a relatively safe bet but it seems that instead of using a beer batter for their fish, they used an attractively dyed cardboard mulch.
I gave three stars even though the food that we got was really not good at all, because I know they can do better, and I trust that they will next time we order food there. They have had a fair track record with a couple of hiccups in the past, but this time was just not to the standard that they've set for themselves.

My sons pasta was absolutely dull. No flavor what so ever. I had a patty melt on rye bread. Toasted but bread was so hard i couldnt eat the edges at all. Service was super slow. Very disappointed
The food here has never disappointed us. Great staff even when they get extra busy. Maybe we'll try a dessert one of these days, we usually don't have room after such a good meal.
Parking: Room for lots of vehicles, but quite difficult with any trailer.
