When we first arrived, we were greeted with a smile and then asked if we had reservations. We were very surprised, seeing multiple open tables. However, the host was so kind and accommodating, and she immediately seated us. The food was amazing, and portions were generous Service was a bit slow, but our server had tables inside as well as outside. We immediately figured out why reservations are needed - this little gem of a restaurant far exceeded our expectations! Only negative…it’s about 1,500 miles from home!

We ate here yesterday, had the carnitas tacos, SO delicious! Served with cilantro rice and black beans. Had an awesome bowl of guacamole. Although it’s a small place, has a fun vibe and great service, this was the highlight of my trip to South Dakota from Arizona. Love Spearfish!

This is the best Mexican restraunt I’ve ever ate at. We had both the chicken and beef enchiladas and they were amazing. Even the kids menu quesadilla was great lol. Will be coming from rapid specifically to eat here from now on
Last year’s visit was much better. This time, the rice I had loved before was overcooked, and the carnitas tacos, while still tasty, were a bit too salty. The other dish we ordered had an overpowering spice flavor, so it wasn’t quite as enjoyable. Unfortunately, we were seated very close to two women speaking quite loudly—not the restaurant’s fault, but the tables were just too close together. We might give it another try when we’re back in town. Please keep an eye on that rice—it was fantastic before.
