I normally don’t post food establishment reviews, however I must share my experience a day ago. When we entered the restaraunt, we asked the hostess if we could sit by a window so we could monitor our 2 dogs in the vehicle while dining. The hostess proceeded to seat us and then we clearly overheard her say to 2 other servers “Customers don’t get to pick where they sit” Took over 15 min for a server to acknowledge us with menus. Placed order and waited over 35 min for our app. (That was the only positive experience was the quality of the app) Server did not check on, update or refill drinks while we waited. Had to ask for silverware not once but 3 times. The establishment was not busy as it was Monday 2pm lunch (approx 5 tables occupied) The worst was yet to come….3 meals arrived, lukewarm. Mine was the worst. It was the Chicken Parmesean. It was delivered like it was scraped off someone’s leftover plate. Noodles beyond dry like it had been sitting for hours. My husband and daughter said what?! Don’t eat that! That was someone’s leftovers! When server returned around 25 minutes later stated, “I’ll leave your ticket here” and walked away. Nothing asked of can I get you anything else? Or refilled any drinks the whole time we were there.

Went to eat here the other day server name starts with s but cant remember cuz she couldnt keep herself set for anythin kept gettin distracted forgot our food order so took forever to come was chatty with another table talking drama and smelled clear as day of alcohol wont be back as this isnt the first time we were served by the skinny blonde and had this experience seriously eat anywhere else in spearfish or surrounding areaa

Stopped by Applebee’s last night and had such a great experience! Diego, the manager, went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect—super friendly and really on top of things. You can tell he takes pride in making guests feel welcome. Jack, the bartender, was fantastic. The bar wasn’t too crowded, so he took the time to chat a bit and make some great drink recommendations. Everything he made was spot-on, and the service was quick without ever feeling rushed. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were all excellent. Big thanks to Diego and Jack for making it such an enjoyable night—I’ll definitely be coming back!
We didn't get seated right away. Our server was eating his lunch. We were ready to order, yet again waiting.....because our server was eating his lunch. He messed up on the order but we didn't say anything. But the worst thing was the dirty store and bathrooms. And I mean DIRTY! You must do better!!

If you’re in the market for incredibly over priced food poisoning and sub par customer “service” this is the place for you. Within 30 minutes of leaving this establishment my entire party was violently ill. I won’t even touch on all the mess ups because I understand accidents happen in the food industry and there is much you cannot control but the poor server was clearly brand new and in way too deep over her head. For a nearly $100 meal there are plenty of other local options id suggest spending your money at.

We were there 2 nights ago and the service was almost non existent. They must have all new wait staff. We waited to be seated, then long time for the fellow to bring water. No straw. Had to request that. Order was very slow in coming. I asked for a knife 3 times so I could cut my chicken. The pasta was very dry and only small amount of sauce on it. Third time I asked for the knife, he said they were dirty and didn't have any clean ones.He brought the 2 take home boxes, check and a knife.
Needless to say, we will not be returning .There are to many good resturants in the area to have to settle for this kind of service and food. I
