We stopped in at this local coffee shop while passing through Spearfish on a road trip and enjoyed a coffee. Reasonable tasting coffee. It was nice to find soft seating in a cafe, not just hard chairs at tables.

This was a great place for breakfast. The acoustics are such that you can still carry on a conversation easily. There was a very large table for groups in the back. It was weird that there were no locks on the bathroom doors we just went somewhere else for that. We will be back!

I’d been wanting to stop by this coffee shop for a while, and I’m glad I finally did. It was busy when I arrived, which makes sense—it’s definitely the kind of place you’d bring a laptop to study or meet up with friends, family, or coworkers. I tried the cream cheese Danish after spotting it in the display case, and it was every bit as delicious as it looked (honestly, I should’ve grabbed two). The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to smile, which made the cozy atmosphere feel even more inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The price for such a wonderful and filling breakfast was very reasonable. I highly recommend Blackbird Espresso to anyone who is looking for a delicious, filling, and very affordable breakfast. I give the kids here a 5 star rating based on the quality of service, food and the extremely affordable price.👍
