The food is amazing. Great flavors. Great dough. The beet salad was a huge hit too. Cash only but they have an ATM on site. Good selection of drinks too. Waitress was really on top of it too.
You will get what you pay for here, an overall fantastic experience. The dining room is cozy and romantic. The pizza is some of the best I’ve ever had. Especially in the area. The service is top notch. Do yourself a favor when in Spearfish and visit Dough Trader.

We wanted to love it, really we did but it was... just okay, nothing special.Custom ordering a pizza with 2 toppings should not cost more than one of the multi topping pizzas on menu.When ya spend that much ya want to love it and... we didnt. Sorry, we won't be back.
Our entire family loves dough traders. The sourdough crust is absolutely amazing and no other pizzas compair to them. The atmosphere is quaint and perfect for a nice relaxing time while you eat.

Very nice ambiance and staff. but unfortunately thats about as far as it goes. Tables are too close together. The people that got sat next to us I could smell her perfume and immediately got a headache. I ended up having to leave dinner and get some air taking my food to go. They are also are CASH ONLY I know this is to "supposedly" keep cost down but it's 2023 come-on just factor the 3% into the price.The pizza wasn't anything special. Very very bland. Sauce is definitely out of a can and I'm borderline on if they actually make their crust fresh in house. It probably needs to be fermented longer if they do. They offer pizzas with a lot of toppings. I feel that probably helps coverup these other issues. But when trying a pizza for the first time I always do cheese with half pepperoni to get a good full flavor taste of the ingredients. I'm sure this place is well enough for most people but not my cup of tea.

Can’t say enough about the pizza or the service! It was delicious! Owner was there and the smiles and welcome were unusual in a busy world of food chains! I wish we had her place near our home in MT. I would be there every week! Don’t miss the home made lemonade!!!
