Cute and quaint. Asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu and the barista looked it up and made it anyway - didn’t tell us til afterward that he didn’t know how to make it, thought that was super nice. Food was awesome, 100% will return when back in Spearfish.

What a horrible time. We waited an hour and a half to pay $14 for a burrito the size of a frozen $1 Taco Bell burrito. There were 3 in our party. Only 3 tables total in the establishment and we ordered breakfast. We’re talking eggs and toast guys... it took an hour and a half. My baby was screaming upset and uncomfortable. As we were getting agitated no one filled our water or batted an eye at the fact we had been there all morning. Right as we got up to leave our plates hit the table. Worst experience ever.

I've been wanting to come here for quite some time. I ordered Eggs Benedict on sour dough bread which came with a side of fried diced red potatoes and 2 pieces of bacon. The bread was homemade. It was all good. I had a honey ginger tea which was excellent. It was really hot inside the cafe and one door was left open which invited in flies. That is why I'm not giving it an "excellent" rating. There is no WiFi. They do offer a "bottomless" mimosa for $12 which I intend to indulge.
Lovely little place, had a delicious breakfast here. Wish I were local so I could come here all the time. Would strongly recommend!

Boy howdy! This place is killing the breakfast game. So many tasty treats on the menu. In a state full of beef, you can actually get tasty vegan/vegetarian options. They’ll even serve up a beet/goat cheese side salad with your breakfast. Go here if you’re feeling a change of pace from the greasy spoons and if you want to smell some patchouli.

My husband and I were traveling through Spearfish and found the Good Day Cafe not too far from the downtown area and decided to stop for breakfast. It was the best decision we made all day! We both had the French Toast with Bacon and it was the best French toast I ever had! Very flavorful made with vanilla and cinnamon, served with better than average bacon. I also ordered a delicious cafe latte to complete my meal. You can dine inside or outside. All the servers were friendly, attentive and helpful. This restaurant is cash only, but if you don't have any there is an ATM available inside.
