It depends on who makes your coffee. They hire a lot of college students for their staff. Sometimes it’s a good cup of coffee and sometimes it’s bland. It’s 50/50. The food is good though. Nice atmosphere and great outside patio in the summer time. These guys are the main competitors to Common Grounds in the silent coffee war of the city ?

I spend a lot of time in various coffee shops all over the country and this one has been one of my favorites. Good food, discounts on your delish coffee if you bring your own mug. (At least there was for the drip coffee) oh, and they have a water pitcher filled with ice. It’s the little things I love. It’s a good place to work out if you’re traveling through too!

LOVE this little hidden gem! The food is so delicious! Drinks are just a tasty! The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Never a long wait anytime we have been in the drive-thru or sat down to eat. Parking is limited but lots of seating inside.
Normally get the cowboy sandwich and was sad that they are changing how they make it.

We were only in town for 2 days, and we came here both mornings! Everything we ordered was great! The wait times were a little long, but I feel like that’s a good sign!
I get it, times are tough and it’s hard to find good workers. More often than not this establishment is very slow, the coffee is mediocre at best and the employees are lacking. We have very limited drive through options, but this is what we are stuck with. Mediocre cafès at best. You order ahead and get home… and this is what you get. I wish Spearfish could get a quality drive through coffee shop. This coffee shop is more geared toward tourist than locals. Someone who might get a coffee once and be gone.
