Killian's Reviews
I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experience. I called around 6:00 PM to place a takeout order for pickup around 7:00–7:15. The person who answered told me to call back in an hour because you were “too busy to take phone orders.” When I asked to speak to the manager, suddenly my order could be taken right away.
I understand restaurants get busy, but the way it was handled felt dismissive and confusing. I really enjoy your food and want to keep supporting...read full review
One of the best near the Black Hills! The bread pudding was amazing.
This is our 4th year in a row to eat at Killian’s. We are in town for the bike rally. Every time is awesome, but I just had the bone-in bison ribeye and it is currently the best steak I’ve ever eaten. I 💯 recommend Killian’s 🤙🏼😎

Killian's offers great food at reasonable prices, with dishes like chicken Jerusalem, garlic sirloin, and burgers. The atmosphere combines a rugged, mountain lodge feel with a modern American eatery vibe that is cozy, inviting, and eclectic enough to keep things interesting. The menu features a mix of classic American comfort food with creative twists, and the food is consistently well prepared and flavorful. The restaurant is dog-friendly, and servers like Cali are cheerful and offer excellent recommendations. The salmon, rueben po boy, and brisket french dip are all fantastic options. The drink selection includes craft beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, and the kids' menu makes it a good choice for families. Indoor seating is plentiful, and there’s a great outdoor patio when the weather is nice. Parking is easy with a lot right in front and additional space in an upper lot. Recent reviews mention solid salads, steak, and chicken sandwiches after a long day on the road, with the steak highly praised. The special with 3 shrimp and blue cheese was described as superb. The ambiance is cool, featuring stone, live edge tables, and old mountain bikes. Visitors find the place lively, with friendly service and a fun, loud atmosphere due to parties, but everyone enjoys their meal. Overall, Killian's has become a local staple, especially for a fantastic local craft beer, an old-fashioned, or a perfect steak, offering a peaceful yet lively spot for a meal.
