Restaurant has absurdly poor communication, and I've hit a point where I'm reluctant to order due to how variable the situation will be. This seems to be a cultural norm in Spearfish, though. That being said, the food is generally good. They really load the tacos, which is probably my only complaint about the food. The point of tacos is to eat less, not to eat more. Place is reasonably clean, reasonably nice, and enjoyable enough to keep coming back.
During the ordering process, we noticed the shift supervisor (Kelly, I believe) was rude to my wife as she was asking about the different toppings. She also was rude and condescending to the staff working the counter. After receiving the order, my wife’s quesadilla was not cut into quarters, so she went to the counter and asked if they could cut it into quarters. The shift supervisor took the quesadilla box and slammed it on the counter, saying “It IS cut into quarters!”...
