Alright. Let's talk atmosphere. 5/5 nice area, some local photos and art, some sound dampening on the walls is always a great choice, big open front windows on a gorgeous 80 degree day? a dinosaur with balloons??? I mean come on, that's enough to warrant the 5 stars right there, but wait! There's more. I could have told you their beer was great before, but what I didn't realize is how they'll revisit tried and true recipes and mix it up and create new familiar flavors. Tangerine bobcat! I'm looking at you. And since the kitchen opened up? It's easily become a must visit location in spearfish. The Balboa flatbread and cheese curds became the highlight of my wife and I's day. We'll be back, and we hope to see you there. It was well worth the stop.

Extremely kind and thoughtful staff! They recently come out with a food menu and ALL and I mean all the food I’ve tasted from it has been fantastic. Monday bingo nights in fall/winter are always so fun and my family looks forward to them and the great beer served!

This stop was sadly the least favorite of our group. There were a ton of option but most seemed to fall short of the expectations, similar to when you go into a restaurant with a 20 page menu. I could feel the potential in each but they just didn't quite get there in nose, flavor, mouthfeel or all of the above.We all ordered flights and tried a varied selection, we also bought a couple of to-go brews that we haven't yet cracked open, but I have high hopes.

This is a great local brewing company. The downtown area is so quaint & the people are friendly.We highly recommend stopping in for a cold one, or two!

We were excited to visit and the Beer was good, but the service and attitude from the manager was unacceptable. We tried to buy a sweatshirt and they had it marked one price on the display. When they went to ring it up it was higher price. When I asked them to honor the price that was displayed, they refused and gave me an attitude about it. I guess they are not familiar with the "customer is right" concept, which is unfortunate. Considering we'd be paying them $50 to advertise their brewery, it's truly their loss. We spend our time driving cross-country several times a year, stopping at every brewery along our route, which we blog about - so it's disappointing to have a negative experience, which doesn't happen often.We would have been OK to spend the $50 they were asking; however, it was how the staff handled the situation that soured our experience. We will move on to our next brewery and spend our money there - and will happily advertise for them with the clothing that we purchase.
