You would think it would be common sense to not make sandwiches with rock hard bread but apparently it isn’t. Every thing else was fine but my sandwich was awful.

Eveytime I come here they get something wrong. Its either they forgot the cheese or a condiment, or they drench it in sauce when you say light sauce. I'm sick of it and won't be eating here anymore.
I recommend eating elsewhere unless you dont mind paying full price for 3/4 of your sandwich.
Just look at the older reviews, very telling.
Though i will say that a majority of the staff are nice!

I ordered a sandwich on the subway app. I had it delivered, with contact less delivery. The instructions were to leave it at my door. The doordash person sat in my driveway for 7 minutes. She never got out of the car, never attempted to call me. As she was leaving the driveway, she marked my sandwich as returned to store because she could not get ahold of me. I tried calling subway, but it's an automated system, with no option to talk to a real person. It said I could leave a voice-mail.

The young lady at the counter was more than gracious with our group after a long day. I highly recommend this location to travelers through South Dakota and Wyoming!

HAIR NETS SHOULD BE REQUIRED! I alway's find hair in the seal of the wrap or inside my sandwiches. (Trash...it goes...)

Ordered online. Got home and the order was wrong. Ended up not having a sandwich for one of the kids. Everything else was fine. It usually is great here but this time dinner was a fail.

Best subway location I've been to. Young lady and man working are very upbeat and hardworking. Made me feel hopeful for the future.

Service was terrible, one staff member serving customers, extremely slowly, while 2 others laughed from behind the wall. My "sandwich artist" cut completely through the bread, so there was a top and bottom not attached. He squished my sandwich together to close it. I asked for the 2 halfs to be wrapped separately, and he left bread sticking out of both pieces! A non-toasted tuna sub should not be this difficult!! I have managed subways in PA and NY, and I would be embarrassed to hand over a sub looking like mine did. (I would have made my employee remake it). I will not stop at this store again! I will now stop in Sturgis before going to work in Spearfish! You shoud be ashamed of the product leaving your store!
All of the food they serve is excellent. But be careful placing a to go order. Every single time I have called ahead something is either missing or wrong. The staff does not clearly read details when ordering online or through the app. You have to be specific when ordering or having your sandwich toasted. Instead of putting bacon on top of the sandwich so it cooks and gets crispy, 99% of the time they will place bacon on the sandwich first, leaving it limp and chewy. Also, sometimes the salad, spinach and tomatoes look... Questionable to say the least. Soggy, brown sometimes the tomatoes are actually partially frozen. Little care is taken into making the sandwiches themselves, rough handling, tearing bread, and sloppily placing ingredients on to the bread. When it's made right with fresh ingredients and by someone who takes pride in their work, it's one of my favorite places to eat as their soup is always fantastic. Probably because all you have to do is heat it up and keep it hot. And GOOD LUCK getting soup after 5 pm. Apparently when it's gone for the day, it's gone. Maybe it's just the Spearfish, SD location, but it's always hit or miss. I also will never place an order on the app ever again as it's always wrong. Service is always 50/50 as well. Today I had to wait several minutes while the woman behind the counter told me, "You're going to have to wait." As she stacked cookies. Then the girl that ended up serving me clearly had somewhere else to be, (I can't blame her, but that's no excuse for poor customer service.) If I gave service and treated people like that at my job, I'd be fired. She then also tried to charge me extra for a drink, even though the cupon I used included a drink and chips with the deal.Like I said, the food is excellent when made right. But the customer service and some (not all) of the employees either need to be trained better or replaced.

Terrible service!! The two gals that were working had a bad attitude. We felt rushed I did not even order food thinking their was gluten free bread and had no time to see what I could order that I can eat. When the woman got the bread for my sons sandwich she slammed it on the counter. When my second son ordered he said a kids meal and when we paid I noticed he didn’t get a cookie and a drink I told her he got a kids meal and she rolled her eyes at me and said in a snappy voice I didn’t charge you for a kids meal.
