Cocktails were amazing! just was a little disappointed with the food my chicken sandwich was so greasy the bun just broke apart, and the sweet potato waffle fries were so burnt and hard.. we had amazing service though! Such a beautiful environment. Will definitely give it another try.

I recently ate brunch at the Farmhouse in Spearfish. We have a large party and we’re accommodated with no problems. The service was great and the food was even more amazing. The hot chicken and biscuits were delicious. I ate every bite, the drinks were really good as well. Everyone in my party, said their food was 10/10. If you are heading to Deadwood or visiting Spearfish, be sure to stop by the Farmhouse!

The farmhouse bistro and bar is a very relaxing environment to enjoy some good food. To start, the space is very open, with large windows adding to the atmosphere for a great place to enjoy a meal anytime of the day. The service was amazing. Our waitress was always checking on us and refilling drinks. The food was also out incredibly quick, which was nice. The taste of the food was also exceptional. The jalapeño burger had just the right amount of spice, and the burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Very good bacon on both the burger and BLT. The saled was very basic with only cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, but everything tasted very fresh. They have some of the best sweetpotatoe fries I've ever had anywhere else. Will definitely be back when I'm in spearfish.
Convenient location just of I90 in Spearfish South Dakota. Excellent service and food. Nice view out window of stream. Very relaxing. Wide range of menu items and drinks.Didn't seem to have the four cheeses mentioned on the menu for the grilled cheese. Sweet cabbage and apple was most of the sandwich.

Another great experience tonight at The Farmhouse! They accommodated our larger group and the service and food were both excellent. I was so excited to dive into my Joe's Burger (with cheese) that I cut into it before taking a photo - the finger indents in the bun are mine!! The waffle cut sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy. Yum!

I had been wanting to eat at Farmhouse for over a year but rarely get to Spearfish when they're open. I was so eager to try it. I had my family hyped up to try it as well. Our server was kind; if somewhat absent after delivering our food. If I were basing the review on atmosphere and service it would be four stars. However; I'm basing this on the food we ordered. My youngest got a cheeseburger. It wasn't over cooked and was okay. But no toppings. The fries were fine. Your typical frozen variety. My other daughter got the hot honey chicken sandwich. It came burned, some of the breading had been knocked off and the actual meat was burnt and super dry. My daughter was hungry and ate it anyhow since we didn't see our server for quite a while. If I were a server, or a cook, I wouldn't have served it like that. My partner got the cod and fries which were fine. He was shocked the fish was so strong with a "fishy" taste. He loves fish but even he was wondering why it was so strong; maybe it had been sitting a while before being cooked. Who knows. Not a huge deal. The flatbread...it lacked a lot. The peaches were not ripe so they had no flavor. There was sparse cheese and even more sparse balsamic so it was really dry. It was also cold when delivered. The brownie sundae was scrumptious though! I may try it again if I'm over that way for brunch. But I wouldn't go to a regular meal there again. Disappointed to say the least.
