The best place to get breakfast in Spearfish! The food is amazing, and the employees are so warm and friendly. Don’t miss this place.

Staff is super friendly, quick service, and very clean. But the pancakes….literally the greatest thing ever!!! I’m glad I don’t live there otherwise I would have a pancake addiction!

Good food the biscuits and gravy were biscuit and gravy no more no less. The service was excellent and the waiter was very nice. He told us how to spend our day in spearfish. Great place

We enjoyed this so much when we got into town that we had to drive the extra 20 miles to come back when we were heading home! Everything here is 5 stars. We will definitely come back when we are in the Black Hills again. Wonderful food & atmosphere. Robb & the rest of the staff are amazing.

Fantastic breakfast spot with a cool old style atmosphere and really great friendly staff! Robb (with 2 B’s) is an awesome waiter! Food was fantastic!! We had the biscuits and gravy, French toast, and pancakes and they were all DELICIOUS! We Definitely recommend checking this spot out !

In the final years of my mother’s life, there were a few folks who showed up for her in ways I’ll never forget nor be able to repay. Two of them are Bob and Laurie Godich — the owners and operators of The Original Spearfish Breakfast House. They were more than just friends to her. They were kind, compassionate, generous, and steadfast in ways that can only be described as selfless and good. Not performatively good. Not self-servingly good. Just. They're just genuinely good people — the kind of people this world desperately needs more of. If you’re in Spearfish — if you believe the kind-hearted, generous people among us deserve to be supported — I’d love for you to swing by The Original Spearfish Breakfast House, enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch, or just a cup of coffee. Even if you just pop your head in the door, say hi, and let Bob and Laurie know the difference people like them make in your community simply by being who they are. And it's not just Bob and Laurie. Their manager Chris and the rest of the staff all contribute to making Spearfish the kind of place that makes a town feel like home. And even though I live in Topeka, KS, there will always be a little bit of Spearfish that feels like home, thanks to Bob and Laurie Godich, Chris, and the rest of the folks at The Original Spearfish Breakfast House.

Amazing breakfast dishes! Chicken fried steak and crab cake Benedict are the best we ever had! Highly recommended!
