Was in town for an event and gave this place a go based on reviews and Americana offerings. We were sat quickly and received warm service. The drinks were prompt and refilled as needed. Starters were decently quick despite the restaurant being quite full. We had the pickle fries and onion rings and loved them both. Our meals were well timed and well prepared and hearty portions. The beer battered fish and fries was delicious and the Angry Neighbor burger was an absolute hit! I was told by my partner that the wings were a solid 4 out of 5, but were decent- just not to the level of delicious they managed to achieve with their burgers. If you get the opportunity, give this local joint a chance. We think they're worth it. The only potential point of improvement we noted was that the bathrooms really do need deadbolt that indicate occupancy clearly as checking for light under the door just feels not great especially while standing nearly in front of those waiting to be seated or cashed out.

Well I had the claw, the 2025 burger battle winner. NOT IN MY OPINION! Should have went to Hardee's and got the mushrooms Swiss. This is the second time I gave them the chance. I'm done.

Clean place, good food and beverages, multiple innovative menu items, plenty of parking, modern rustic vibe, good accessibility. What's not to like? This is a solid A nestled in an emerald valley in the Black Hills. I'd eat here every week if I lived nearby (in town visiting my sister a few blocks away.)

Everyone on the staff was friendly, the beer was cold, and the burgers lived up to their billing as the best in the state. Plus we got to sit on the patio with our dog.

Overall really interesting place. The Angry Neighbor Burger is very flavorful and juicy, and kind of tastes like the seating taste of the inside of a Culver's burger. For me, it was on the milder side, but probably the perfect level of spice for most people. Plenty of cheese on the burger as well. Fries were also seasoned well and crispy.
Service was great, the waitress actually brought out sample glasses for beer to try before ultimately deciding, which was cool.
The atmosphere wasn't the most accoustic friendly per-say, but at the same time it felt like you were at an authentic local place in a small town. (Which is what it was!)
