I attended a family reunion in NW Iowa and on my way back to MN I googled to see if there were any breweries in the area and A Homestead Brew was just 3 miles off my route so I decided to stop in for a beer and some to go. The guy working there greeted me and was knowledgeable in the beers they had on tap. I had a Don't Fret pale ale which was very good and got a 4 pack to go. A nice option is they let you mix a four pack if you like. I got the Tower of Power IPA and The Tycoon and I’m excited to try them. If you like sours this is the place for you. I’m not a sour fan but I had a taster and I have to say I enjoyed it. Not the artificial sweetness that so many sours have but theirs had a natural sweetness. I recommend you try them out,I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

We had our wedding here, and it was absolutely amazing! The views, the brewery, and the hop farm provided the most beautiful backdrop. We had such a great experience working with Lee and Nancy as we prepared for the big day. They were always helpful and communicative. I know they went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect day and that everything looked great. The value can't be beat. Plus, our guests loved the beer! We had a hard time kicking people out at the end of the night because no one wanted to leave. Those that didn't drink or didn't like beer had plenty of other options too and were equally as happy. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding day and definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a great venue.

Visiting this place was an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond, making me feel truly welcome. The atmosphere exudes a unique charm, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable time. The service was impeccable, ensuring every moment was enjoyable. From their delightful range of drinks to their mouthwatering pizza, every item exceeded expectations. My personal favorite, the 'SLAM South Dakota', is a revelation in sour drinks, boasting an incredibly refreshing taste that's bound to leave a lasting impression. If you're seeking a combination of exceptional staff, exquisite drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere, this place is an absolute must-visit

Stopped here on a race rainout and had a great time. The outdoor space is beautiful with a nice peaceful feel. They have a good variety of beer! I had an ale, sours, dunkel, and porter... The owners are awesome and knew their beer. The inside of the brewery is a rustic mix (comfortable/homie). The locals ("regulars") are welcoming and friendly, too. They have board games, a TV, and snacks. It's a little bit of a drive on a gravel road, but it's a well maintained road.
