Hands down the best breakfast in Vermillion. The service is unfailingly excellent. Love the Benedicts, all of their drinks, omelets. Pancakes are average. Their lunches are good too, but breakfast is the star.
It can be loud.
Order the creme brulee. Every time. It's always perfect.

I’ve been coming to Café Brúle because I truly adore the atmosphere and the service. This evening I was greeted by staff and was shown to a table right away. I was warmly greeted by my server- I believe her name was Jo or Josie- and she was very friendly. I ordered one of the summer menu items which was amazing- the shrimp bowl was so good! Although the meal was spectacular, I want to emphasize about how great the service was. I received my food on time and was quickly served every time I needed something. Jo was great about keeping on top of my table and making sure everything was situated before I even asked! She brought a positive energy that reflected well on the restaurant. I love coming to Café Brúle and will continue coming again to try more summer items!

I came here with family for a quick breakfast. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful paintings, and the staff were so nice. We had our waiter come back twice to make sure everything was going okay without us asking. 10/10 service. Food was amazing, coffee was great, and they had a very all-are-welcomed feel with the gender neutral bathrooms+mural on the front. Definitely would go again.

Initially I did 5 stars, but I suppose since the owner has responded; I'll give a real review. At the recommendation of a friend who had said this is her favorite place in Vermillion & the mac & cheese is her go to, I thought I'd give it a try. Not only did the Five ⭐ Mac & Cheese not disappoint, it was phenomenal. The hot cider out did the taste memory I had for apple cider. It was tart but the warming spices made it so comforting & autumnal. Perfect. Next I had a creme brulee, because: namesake, & as the wonderful server said, you cant go wrong with cream & sugar. The stylings & decor are reminiscent of coffee shops I've only ever seen in media that make you want to bring in a book & stay for way too long. I will happily return whenever I'm in town, & 10/10 would recommend. Keep up the good work guys!
