I mainly use drive thru. They are always kind, helpful, and competent. Recently, I could not find my wallet to pay. The young lady said it was on them. Very kind. I went back later in the day and paid my bill. Thank you.

Ordered the Dark Chocolate Cranberry drinks and got HoHo mint Espressos. Not even close to the right order. Skylar G. (@333p at Coffee Cup) was at the counter and obviously didn't care enough to get it right.

This was my first (and at this time LAST) time I will stop here for a coffee. Thoroughly disappointed with the beverage and the service.

Forr $15 and both drinks wrong. Not a good first impression.

Ordered through the app-2 iced lattes and two breakfast sandwiches, I got there and she handed me one coffee and two breakfast sandwiches stuffed in one bag, and a donut in another bag. I thought maybe I got the wrong order so I look at all the stickers and one is missing, I explain that and show her the stickers and gave her the donut back. She told me there was a sticker missing because the two sandwiches were together…. No I was missing a whole other sticker not including the food and she told me to come back through the line if I want another coffee but I was holding up the drive thru and needed to move and shut the window. I tried to look up the order in my phone and their wasn’t any record of it, I tried flagging someone down inside to see if the have any record of what was ordered through mobile, like a history you could look at and no…. So I went and started a new order added two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches, total came out to what my card had been charged… The whole time the lady is telling me I need to move and being very rude, I maybe sat there for 4-5 minutes in total.

In the end I don’t know if it was an honest mistake, or they gave my drink to a different customer, or if someone working there took it but they were so unhelpful and so rude I wasn’t trying to get free drinks just what I paid for. But I ended up paying for a coffee I never got, I can’t afford that. I went across the street to Starbucks, order placed and picked up no issues… treat people better, and update your app so employees can’t take advantage of your app that doesn’t update in real time.

I have been a weekly, well-paying customer but have been treated with considerable disregard and surprising rudeness my past two visits. I have seldom met such unreasonably hostile customer service in my life, and am frankly very disappointed. As much as I used to like Caribou, I unfortunately will be needing to take my money elsewhere.

I like Caribou in Vermillion and the people that work there. I go there to get some work done, but sometimes the music is too loud to concentrate.

Edit: @Caribou Coffee (Owner): It looks like you misread my review. I am not sharing a positive experience. The music in your shop is too loud.

Iced coffee made with powdered milk? Obviously it’s not going to blend. This pumpkin espresso tastes fake. I also got flatbread and bagel… tastes like frozen food. The cheese is stuck on my teeth like gum. Pumpkin hot latte is so sweet that you can’t even taste de coffee. The place is beautiful and clean. Food choices are disappointing.

Service is prompt and cheerful. Very good coffee. Staff suggested a drink based on my dietary preferences. Sidney cheerfully answered questions about the nearby SDU campus. Clean and welcoming environment throughout the shop.
Worth the 8-minute drive off I-29.
