Asked for lemon water got regular then she brought a bowl of lemons and gave them the the table behind us asked for a straw never got one was a really long wait time on food. We didnt receive any refill on chips didnt get a chance to even ask they where just walking past super fast the table next to us got 3 things of chips. There was a chicken bone in my fajita which at that point I had just given up this was our first time going and was our last for sure. Don't recommend this place there is much better mexican food in the area

The food is good, but wait times can be very long during events that bring crowds to Vermillion. The staff really hustles, but are overwhelmed at times.

Best grilled tilapia fish taco ever! Guacamole was seasoned perfectly! Churro was served with vanilla ice cream. The DELICIOUS unsalted chips were prepared in clean oil.

Honestly the best in the game. El Nopal’s food is excellent and the flavors are great. Their staff is incredibly friendly and I’m grateful and proud to be a regular. There’s a reason I’m almost going once a week🙏🏼 Best Mexican restaurant in town

Food didn’t even look good on the plate, I should’ve took pictures. Flies flying around, not enjoyable. Spent $50 and didn’t even touch 1/4 of either of our plates. I’m guess it should’ve been obvious when we went at 1215 and not a soul in the place. didn’t even bother complaining because they couldn’t hardly understand what we were saying when trying to order etc. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
Wow, really good food and plenty of it! They barely speak English, though, so brush up on your Spanish!

I called and ordered a burrito for pickup. They told me it would be 8 minutes, which seemed oddly specific, but I went straight there. I walked in to pick up my food and checked my phone to see how long it had been. 8 minutes on the dot. Now that is service.

I love El Nopal! My partner and I occasionally order it for takeout, and the Pollo de Queso always hits the spot. The portions are quite large for the price you pay, and the food tastes real and authentic Latin American. They have tons of options and unique dishes to try. Their salsa and guacamole is great, and their chips taste made-in-house! El Nopal is quickly becoming one of our staples for a takeout meal.

The taco salad had lots of beef, but it was very salty. There was hardly any lettuce and one small tomato slice. Chips are quite greasy.

Like the food but service is hit or miss. There is definitely a language barrier with the staff and we have gone in for a meal but never got served after they brought us drinks.
