On Saturday evening, October 19, 2924, at approximately 6:10 p.m., I entered the Vermillion Pizza Ranch, paid about $17.00 for the buffet, and entered the dining area. There were no plates, there were no glasses. Eventually, someone set out some paper plates and paper cups. It hardly mattered, for there was almost no food! It was one of the poorest dining experiences I ever have encountered. I had a bit of salad at a table that had not been cleaned, went to see if there was anything else to eat, and when I returned to my table, my soda was gone. The service was at least as poor as the food selection. Diners were waiting, plates in hand, for the staff, what there was of a staff, to bring some food. It seemed to me that the number of staff members working was not remotely sufficient to do the job. I left in disgust. It will be a cold day in Hades before I venture into a Pizza Ranch ever again.

no food on buffet, setting out dirty plates for people to eat on, literally food caked on the plates, no cups, and anything that was on the buffet was up sitting there was sitting for well over 30 minutes

Nice buffet style restaurant with an arcade in the back. The food was decent but compared to the Pizza Ranch outside of Sioux Falls, SD it was lacking the variety of foods and the amount of pizzas. Slim pickings but we did order a pizza and the chicken Fry's. The desert was good.

There were 11 people in our party . We were there at 6. Finally went and asked if they couldn't put chicken out. There were 2 pieces when we got there and still same 2 pieces at 6.30. The girl put out 3 pieces of dark. Had to ask if she didn't have wings. The last couple of times we have had to ask for food. We go there because family comes from Yankton and Iowa and son lives in Vermillion. It's not worth $16. when you have to ask for food.

Ordered carry out chicken. There is no way it was cooked fresh. Tasted like it was pulled from the bottom of the buffet. Very disappointed. The dogs like it, though.

Their food is very good and I love the warm reception. Everyone greets you with a smile and that's a great courtesy for and international student like me in the United States! Oh and you can eat all you want for a great rate, don't forget to grab their loyalty card
