Silk Road used to be my favorite restaurant. I still enjoy the food, but can no longer tolerate the poor customer service. This review is not based on a single experience, but rather a dozen encounters over the course of a couple years. Even mid-afternoon the restaurant seems short of staff. It has become standard to immediately place a customer on a long hold when receiving a call for take out. Orders placed closer to normal meal times can be delayed up to 3 hours. Customers may wait 15 minutes or more just to pay their bill. For these reasons I no longer frequent Silk Road.

The Vietnamese Combo Fried Rice is always amazing and the portion is more than most can eat in a sitting. I would highly recommend ordering their food which you can also do online.

Ordered take out lo mein and it was lo meh. Very little flavor, dry, scant ingredients ($2 to add each veggie- really?) Overall not worth the money spent. Definitely not like the old silk road. Won't be returning.

Silk Road was one of my wife’s favorite restaurants. We made a trip to vermillion for that reason specifically just to find out that they don’t know how to update their hours online and they are closed on Tuesday now. Bunch of incompetent jokers.

I’m a Yote alum who absolutely loved the old Chae’s restaurant…and now I absolutely love Silk Road Cafe! Anytime I’m traveling to or through the Vermillion area, I try to order from Silk Road! I love the crab rangoons and sweet and sour chicken! The sauce is a perfect blend of mostly sweet with a little tang. Portion sizes are big enough for two or to get two meals out of! Do stop in if you’re nearby and try it!!!

My wife and I drove down on our motorcycles to have supper and we get to the restaurant and there is a sign that say carry out only. You need to update your page it says dine in.

Picked up an order of spring rolls and egg rolls- so good! I missed the food the last two years.... Will make it a monthly thing since you're pick up only

When I picked up the food, it had a "different smell. But still I wanted to try the crispy noodles. The stew was presented as if someone put a bunch of vegetables, pieces of chicken and water to boil (don't know if that's what it's supposed to be). The noodles and rice were okay but that stew ?. I wish they could not overflow your container with watery soup, by making nice thick and tasty stew of vegetables with a cup of soap on the side.
