Very friendly staff that were happy we were there. Ice cold beer, tasty popcorn and snacks. Unique atmosphere that hasn't changed in years and that is a positive and part of the charm. Nice place to go with friends and will definitely visit again.

Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders, the only complaint I have is that they don't have liquor, only beer. At least the price is good.

Good country atmosphere. If you want to drink without loud music or screaming, that's the place to go. Also has dart and a lower level that can be rented for events. I think they also have board games, but you might have to ask them
We are visitors to Vermillion this weekend and just happened upon the Varsity. We met so many great folks, had a wonderful time and felt more than welcome. Great little bar.
