What a gem! Everything we had, including the iced tea, was fresh and homemade. The vegetable beef soup had my 15 year old asking where he could find this at home (DC). White and brown gravy, chicken fried steak, hand breaded puckle fries. All fresh and shockingly awesome. And I don't think they updated their prices after COVID...such a deal. This place should be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives!!

The pizza was delicious!! Being from Chicago, we have low expectations of pizza while traveling, but this was very good! The barbecue chicken has Carolina Gold, mustard on top, so if that’s not your thing ask for it without.

We stopped in for dinner on the way to Badlands NP. Our server was fantastic and very attentive while still giving us privacy and time to talk. The salad bar was limited, but if you like a basic salad there was nothing wrong with it.

I ordered the Hamburger Steak (cooked medium) with a side of mashed potatoes. The steak itself was BOMB and I loved the onions and mushrooms. My mashed potatoes and the brown gravy were very yummy and the perfect consistency. Dinner also came with a roll and melted butter which was also good! Soft, not stale.

My boyfriend ordered the broasted chicken dinner and had equally high praises! There weren’t any vegetable side options but dinner did include a salad, which was a good substitute.

I highly recommend this roadside restaurant, especially if you are heading into the NP to camp for the night. Their food beats a portable-stove cooked meal for sure. Thanks, Red Rock!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Monday. What a refreshing change from the usual road- side fare! A combination of veteran efficiency and service with authenticity of Dakotas hospitality and warmth, serving food that is outta this world. Drew took exceptional care of our needs and was super capable and affable. We had the best soup ( potato and beef) that I think I have ever had - and were offered a free second helping!! Go figure!! My husband had honey garlic chicken wings as well and they were truly epic!! Saw other veterans there and I am convinced that this place will achieve icon status in Wall. Having waited tables in college to get through I recognize exceptional service when I see it. Having eaten pretty mediocre food in our travels I appreciate truly exceptional food preparation when I am lucky enough to find it. I think this place is a hidden gem and would love to return for the dinner menu if I get a chance. We were served quickly within minutes as were others who came after we did - no wait at all!
So thank you for the great food, authentic warmth , ample portions, , concerted attention to our needs. And thank you for your service.

Fabulous food, especially the beef (local raised). Service was slow as there was only one server in a busy restaurant (@ 1pm).

They seated a guy at a table for 4 when a table for two was available; the refused to let my party of three sit at the only one table which was for set up for six. We were forced to take a booth in the bar; none of the people in my party drink alcohol. The staff in the bar were more interested in talking to the drinkers than taking our order. My first 3 choices from the menu they did not have, broasted chicken, cod fish and beef tips. This was a Sunday afternoon. The potato bacon soup was good, but the wings were overcooked and nearly cold by the time bar guy stopped talking and picked them up from the kitchen serving window. When paying the bill my wife was standing in line behind a couple that were in the restaurant side and they were telling the cashier about the terrible service. After standing in line to pay for over 5 minutes we were told we had to pay in the bar because that is where we ate. Avoid, avoid, avoid; get a subway sandwich and some soup.
