Made a pit stop here on a long drive. It was a beautiful, warm day in April, so I was looking for outdoor seating and this place has a great covered patio out front. Wall's a tourist trap, so I expected a bad meal, honestly. Pleasantly surprised! They claim to serve local beef, so I thought I'd try a 1/2 lb burger with a side of potato wedges. Excellent choice! One of the best restaurant burgers I've ever had, honestly. I never get ground beef undercooked (you wouldn't either if you'd worked on an E. coli class action lawsuit), but they did a perfect medium well on the burger while still keeping it juicy, and not turning the outside of it to charcoal. If that's the local beef, it's worth seeking out. Good cheese choices and fresh lettuce, onion, and tomato, too. The potato wedges or joes were excellent and abundant. Only quibble was that because I wanted to sit outside, they'd only serve me with to-go containers. Waitress promised to check on me for a drink refill, but never did. Still, a solid lunch on a balmy spring Sunday.

We went here while staying in Wall mostly because we didn't have a ton of options (especially with the dogs). They very kindly let us sit inside with the dogs. The food and service were fine -- probably better during the busy season and not late at night.

We ate here twice on a recent visit to Wall SD. Food was good both times. Service was awful first time - great 2nd time. Good server help is a problem in Wall or so we were told.

Would not recommend.Stopped in to grab some dinner. I asked the hostess how long to place a Togo order, she seemed annoyed that I would ask looked around and mumbled "45 minutes". We left for the meantime to watch the sunset in the badlands.Upon our return my wife stopped in instead. She also got strange vibes from the hostess.We ordered a fried steak to go. Needless to say is was bad, and soggy. Seemed like maybe the cook was also having a bad day. We should not have returned after the first encounter.Would not dine again.Parking: Free street parking
