We have stopped the last few years on our travels through South Dakota. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great. We look forward to it all year long. We tell everyone who travels to the area it’s a must stop. We’ll see yall next year!!

We stayed in Wall for a night and went to the Salty Steer because it was so highly rated. I had the Mushroom and Steak pasta and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger, we shared a chocolate cake. The food was delicious and our waiter was very friendly and kind.

Sliders were fanTASTIC and the bartenders were friendly as can be. A prefect setting to chit chat with fellow travelers. Glad I decided to skip the Wall Drug Cafe chaos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at Salty Steer.

We are here on the recommendation of some friends that were through the area a few weeks before us. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals filet with mashed potatoes for me and bison ribeye and potatoes au gratin for him. The French onion soup was great too!

Despite telling the hostess 3 times we were there to pick up our to go order, he completely ignored us, literally one time just stared at us like we were on a different planet. Now our food is cold and disgusting because it had clearly been sitting while we told this man over the course of 20 minutes that we were there to pick up our food. Food is less than mid. Very unorganized. Go some place else.
