We thought it was OK. We can say we went. The restaurant was like cafeteria food. It was good food but, reminded us of going to a cafeteria. Lots of separate little stores in main building to walk aroundand see. "Backyard" area was open outside to walk around and sit on some statues for pictures. But, the inside stores were closed. Check out the t-rex. It was kinda fun especially for kids when it roars! There are TONS of bathrooms ? everywhere ?. The "free water" cup was hilarious ? and the 5c coffee cups were like baby cups. I ordered a hot tea because they didn't have any creamers for coffee other than powdered packages. I asked for honey ? for the tea. Nope "sorry we don't have honey" ... ugh ?But, again we can say we went!
The café provides a traditional American fare meal with hamburgers and such. Be sure to try the cake donuts they are excellent. Prices are a bit higher than other locations in the area; but I think you are paying for the name and tradition of the location. The décor of the café is very interesting; take your time to walk around and look at it all.
Stopped here on the way to the Badlands park. Very busy. This empire takes up a couple blocks and has everything a tourist would want. We ate at the cafe. Service was quick and efficient despite a long line to order. The staff was on top of their game and got our order to us very quickly. Had buffalo hotdogs and onion rings that had a great taste. The dining areas were clean and decorated with relics and very good art. Cheap coffee! Free water, but prices on souvenirs seemed a little high compared to other shops we've been in around Keystone and Deadwood. Overall, a nice place to stop on the way to the Badlands National Park.
Service was quick. About 20 people ahead of me in line....from the time I got in line, placed my order and had my food only about 15 minutes elapsed. I had a burger with fries, shared a slice of cherry pie, chocolate covered donut, and chocolate chip toffee cookie. Food was fast-food good. It's more about the experience and atmosphere. Would recommend stopping to look around at all the shops within Wall Drug. I browsed only about half.
A fun stop. Free ice water. 5 cent coffee (it's good). Veterans get free coffee and a free donut! Try the Buffalo burger. Lots of free parking for any size RV behind the store near a railroad track.
The food was really good! We got both the breakfast and then dinner. The pancakes were out of this world good and the bacon was awesome. For dinner my brother was able to get a gluten free bun with his burger and they were able to accommodate his gluten intolerance. The staff was super friendly and the dining room is really cool! If you’re in the area it’s a cute little place to grab a bite!
Love this place. Well worth putting up with all of the billboards along route 90. Stop in get some gifts have a cup of coffee and hit the road Jack.
One of the coolest places you'll ever visit. It's like the Walmart of the old west. They still have free ice water and five cent coffee after decades. The pie and donuts are fantastic.
This cafe was right next to the hotel so I heard so much about it how great it was1st time in I ordered the tuna sandwich and fries I was sick for 2 days2nd time we had a train delay so a group of us went in for breakfastI ordered scrabbled eggs and toast and one of those big cinnamon rollsI thought can't mess that up, not really sure what the egg was but not scrabbled so much grease on the egg I couldn't eat it the toast had no butter did have jellyWithin 10 minutes of eating the roll was sick again. The service there was so rude just down right hateful
This place is like the world’s strangest fever dream, nothing in here is worth a stop. But I have gone every time I drive out west without fail and now everything I own has a wall drug sticker on it for no good reason. So in conclusion go here (also my friend claims that he was able to eat 40 of the french toast sticks I have no idea if that is true but see if you can beat him I guess).

We stopped because we saw the million billboards up along I-90 and just had to see what all the fuss was about. It was the tourist trap we expected, but as long as you know that and expect that, it’s a fun little place to stop and eat and rest a bit. And maybe grab some souvenirs that you didn’t know you needed. Very clever advertising and marketing, I’ll give them that.
Food was cold. They brought out more food than we ordered. The hash browns looked like mush, pancakes were barely golden brown. I hope their lunch and dinner is better than their breakfast.
Worth the stop! Take some time and look around. The doughnuts are a must! Food is also food. Be prepared to wait during peak times.
It's tourism at it's best( or worst) so you'll pay for it. The food was good, not great but expensive. The atmosphere is great though and if you wanted just a donut and coffee, it would be cheaper. I would recommend sight seeing there and even a meal but you won't get value. Maybe I'll just go across the street to eat next time.
Great food, insanely busy. Nice little tourist shop stop. You could easily spend a day here.
