Ordered Hy-Chi online for pickup tonight. At pick up, staff was not friendly. My beef with broccoli was slimy, and had only 3 small pieces of beef in it. The sweet and sour chicken had no sweet and sour sauce with it. Lo mein was sticky. Egg roll was overcooked.

This is the second time we have eaten Chinese at Hy-Vee and the second time I have left my meal because it was cold. Not warm but COLD! I will NOT be eating there again!

I love HyVee! I shop and eat there. But yesterday, May 22, I stopped to get a chicken meal at the deli. I stood there a minute, then watched the deli person walk in with an empty garbage can. He had just come from emptying it. I looked at his hand, which he wiped on his pants, and proceeded to dish up my meal! No washing or gloves. Ugh
This was around 7pm. This guy needs some training or something!

I had to cancel birthday visit with friend. The helpful floral and bakery staff went beyond to help me order flowers and get a cake ready out of the case for delivery the next day. The helpfulness of the staff was surprising to me and seemed unusually helpful. I bet it is that way for the whole store.

2/9/20 Possibly the worst breakfast buffet my husband and I have had. The bacon was burnt, french toast sticks hard as rocks, sausage gravy tasted like just yesterday flour and milk and lukewarm coffee.

I was staying in Watertown for a few weeks and was happy to see a HyVee in town. I went in to check it out and was thrilled to see it was set up with the buffet style "all you can eat" salad bar. It is an easy way to eat healthy when traveling so I eat at these when I am in a city that has one. Highly recommended.

Stopped in here primarily because the floral department exceeds expectations and I needed a floral bouquet. We also bought some packable lunch items for a drive and picnic. We were able to get everything in one stop, which is not always the case, and I was impressed with the employees and the store itself. I am pleased to suggest this as a full grocery store for those who have not tried shopping here.
