Food was good. They were out of what I wanted but the ribs were delicious. Service was good. Everyone was nice. Restaurant had a slight odor when you first walk in that could be addressed.

Horseradish was like creamy dressing. No bite at all. Au juice needed salt. The prime rib itself was delicious.

Came in late so glad we could get food, but the staff struggled to get it out. We watched our beers sit at the bar while our server walked around imperviously, then a different server apologized and brought them to us. Judging by the temperature of the food the same thing happened to that and it sat out for quite a while. I have eaten n here before and enjoyed it, but this visit the service was poor.

Order a hamburger that was supposed to have onion straws, it had one onion ring raw, was supposed to have their special sauce, it had none. It was supposed to have Brisket on it.. Four starands of brisket on it. The burger tasted like it was cooked then put in water untill they needed it. For $18 it sucked. We ordered the Walleye strips as a appetizer, no taste the worst breading ever. One draft beer 9.50.
This place is not worth going to. There is to many good places to eat in Watertown. Would not bother to go there again.

Nice atmosphere but service was very slow and my friend was not given his complete meal. He ordered the pulled pork but wasn't given bread to eat it with. He asked for some but was told that they ran out. That bit of information would've been nice to know prior to ordering. Finally convinced the waitress to at least bring him a hamburger bun

Good food and drinks

No hostess to be seen. Empty tables waiting to be filled. 45 minutes wait. Limited staffing. Based on other reviews you to have to have a terrible pallet to even consider the food to be of good standard. Definitely dodged a bullet here and probably a case of food poisoning.

The stake was a 8 not bad but not a 10...

Update: We were notified by Eric, the General Manager the following morning to discuss our experience in more detail and attempt to rectify the previous evening's debacle. We were prepared to go through with our cancellation, (and would have called to do so, but Eric reached out first) however, Eric seemed genuinely interested in redeeming the situation and asked us to consider giving them the opportunity to make it right. So we agreed to keep our reservation.
My husband and I arrived at 7:00pm (before the rest of our party arrived), the staff had our table already set to receive our party of 12 and Eric immediately came over to introduce himself and assure us that our experience would be much better than before. After our party had arrived our waitress took our drink, appetizer and entree orders, all appropriately timed and came out as should be expected. Kudos on staying on top of the drink refills, checking to make sure we had what we needed and to our satisfaction-that's quality service! The drinks were well made and the food was definitely what we had been anticipating-seasoned well, the correct temperatures and served at the appropriate times. That's the excellence we're expecting! That's an Omaha, 801 Chophouse, level experience! That is the excellence and quality service that your customers desire-every time. The kind of 'high-end' service and 'top-shelf' quality establishment our clients from Omaha are seeking while on their hunting and business trips to your area. So thank you for giving us a much better experience. Well done Mavericks' staff! That's how it's done!
