***Editing my initial review from yesterday as management promptly replied this morning stating that we had a new server. The issues my table had were a result of this and management was quick to respond on here to try to make things right. I appreciate this as I too manage in the service industry and understand the process of training a new employee. I'm local and have lived here for 25 years. The two most popular Mexican restaurants in town are this one and Guadalajara. Neither are fancy. Both have been in business for a long time and are appreciated by locals. Each have their strong points. If I want a really good entree, I head to Guad's. I agree with another reviewer that the ingredients at Senor Max's seem pre-packaged. If I want good margaritas, good slushies or seasoned chips with a variety of sauces,...
