It was great my first time going in the food was good the staff was friendly and the prices weren't terribly expensive.

Great little local cafe. And one of the best hot beasts I've ever had.

Decent cafe overall, visit around 4 times a year and holds pretty consistently. Food is not bad but could use some work on flavors/seasonings, as for service it's slow.

The food was fine, but our server HATED us from the second we walked in. I don't know what we did but I couldn't even get a response to "Thank You". So thanks, Beth, for making our breakfast awkward. ?

Wife and I stopped in Watertown on our trip. Took one look at the menu online and knew we had to stop for supper. Absolutely fantastic hot beef and I have never got that much gravy on my plate in my life, pies were scrumptious. Out server was brand new but didn't seem like it she was fast and very courteous . If I'm ever back in the area I'm coming for more. For an appetizer, 2 meals and 2 slices of pie our bill was only $43. Home cooked food. What a steal. My only suggestion is make the banana cream pie with a graham cracker crumb crust.

All around good place to eat. Good quick service. Lots of seating. Food is good cafe cooking. My last fries were a bit too blonde for my liking but overall a good experience.

Well, for starters, 3 of the 5 people in our party got food poisoning. I only give this 2 stars because my son and his friend frequent this place for giant pancakes and breakfast skillets. They ate breakfast skillets this night, and they were fine. My youngest son ate a hamburger and spent the next day on the toilet. My husband ordered the hot roast beef sandwich, and he spent 2 days on the toilet and a whole night with terrible stomach cramps. I suffered the same as my husband. Although I had the Philly cheesecake sandwich, I also suffered terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. My Philly was not a Philly at all. It was chunks of steak (I'm gonna say round steak). It was very chewy, the strips were thick. Not at all like a traditional philly. The bun was hard as though the sandwich had been microwaved. It was not pleasant. We arrived at approximately 7:30 and were told immediately that they closed at 8, but they would still serve us. It took them at least 30 minutes to get us our crappy food. I ordered a salad with mine instead of French fries. The waitress forgot my salad and brought the salad after all the other food was on the table. In hindsight, I wish we had left when they told us that they closed in 30 minutes.

Food was not as good as it usually is. Fries were soggy and not fresh at all. Quite disappointing.
