Food was decent. Waitress couldn't keep up with the 2 tables that she had, very forgetful, inattentive and seemed more worried about filling the jelly trays and ordering her dinner! Couldn't help but notice that the hostesses pink Crocs looked like they had never been cleaned. Only noticed this because she would crumple up receipts and throw them onto the floor instead of the heaping trash can next to her. She and three waitresses and walked by and over it for about an hour.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was so excited to have biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. Called in my order, was told 10/15 minutes. When I arrived to pick up my order it wasn't even put in, so had to wait then get home to enjoy my breakfast it was Chicken gravy, YELLOW GRAVY NOT SAUSAGE GRAVY.. We used to love having meals, great conversations a great time with good food, it is no longer the place it used to be.. Never again. Disappointed

Great little local cafe. And one of the best hot beasts I've ever had.

Decent cafe overall, visit around 4 times a year and holds pretty consistently. Food is not bad but could use some work on flavors/seasonings, as for service it's slow.
Average place to eat, sure beats fast food
I've been going to breakfast here for a couple decades....

The food was fine, but our server HATED us from the second we walked in. I don't know what we did but I couldn't even get a response to "Thank You". So thanks, Beth, for making our breakfast awkward. ?

Wife and I stopped in Watertown on our trip. Took one look at the menu online and knew we had to stop for supper. Absolutely fantastic hot beef and I have never got that much gravy on my plate in my life, pies were scrumptious. Out server was brand new but didn't seem like it she was fast and very courteous . If I'm ever back in the area I'm coming for more. For an appetizer, 2 meals and 2 slices of pie our bill was only $43. Home cooked food. What a steal. My only suggestion is make the banana cream pie with a graham cracker crumb crust.
