The food was okay. The server was rude and snotty. Slammed dishes behind me. Is this how you treat a disabled veteran?!? I'm in town on business twice a week. Will never stop there again!!!

Lived this little restaurant. The salad bar was amazing, the atmosphere what like a Cracker Barrel and the food was hot and delicious and reasonably priced.

The coffee was really weak.

Listen if you don’t stop here, then you are missing out on a great gem. Small town cafe with above parr food, homemade pies and desserts. I think I read on the menu that the bread is homemade as well. I had the walleye sandwich. It was light and airy yet very meaty. The bread was soft, buttery and perfectly done. I also had the upside down rhubarb cake, yummy! The servers were friendly, and did their jobs better than a lot of servers I’ve known. Locals were in abundance and some great people watching was had. My only regret was that we hadn’t found this cafe earlier on our trip. Well done!
Normal breakfast food. We had a party of 7 with a toddler. My wife has celiac disease and is unable to eat gluten. The menu is NOT accommodating so my wife brought her own food...so she wouldn't get sick. We ordered a full plate of food for our toddler even though he would not be eating it all to obviously accommodate for her not eating. The issue was the waitress was extremely rude about my wife having "outside food" rather than finding out what the reasoning was. Obviously we're not part of the "local" crowd so I'm sure we don't matter. If you're from out of town or have any dietary restrictions(that may make you sick), my suggestion would be to find another place to eat because this restaurant doesn't even care enough to ask or accommodate.
