Listen if you don’t stop here, then you are missing out on a great gem. Small town cafe with above parr food, homemade pies and desserts. I think I read on the menu that the bread is homemade as well.
I had the walleye sandwich. It was light and airy yet very meaty. The bread was soft, buttery and perfectly done.
I also had the upside down rhubarb cake, yummy!
The servers were friendly, and did their jobs better than a lot of servers I’ve known.

Despite signs indicating that the restaurant was understaffed and our visit coinciding with a very busy time, the food arrived quickly, and the service was prompt. The food was excellent.
The coffee was really weak.
Our server was good. All our orders were correct.
In all, a good experience.
