Came to the hillside steakhouse hoping to get a steak.. They are only serving burgers and pizza now. I can get that at any bar and grill... If u have to go as far out as you have to go you expect to get a nice meal... Steakhouses need to serve steaks... The place looks great nice elegant even but the menu doesnt belong there. They have done a fantastic job of improving the facilities, it is by far the nicest restaurant in the area. Unfortunately their food hasn’t necessarily improved. I had a ribeye that wasn’t prepared correctly, a small baked potato with a tiny container of sour cream, and a nice house salad with an equally small container of dressing. Disappointing. The Hillside "Steakhouse" has no steak on the menu. Food was mediocre at best. This used to be our go to before Covid. We likely will not be back. Servers were very kind, but not efficient.
