The sandwiches we ordered were great, but the wait staff were not friendly or welcoming at all. It’s like a fast food walk-up and then waiting for your order. They were not shy at all when it came to letting people know when it was closing time mid-afternoon on a weekend. The iced coffee drinks we ordered were lukewarm on ice and not very good. There were so many flies that we were constantly brushing them off of everything.
I like the historical ambience, but this place doesn’t really allow for the kind of people who truly want to take their time and appreciate the historical significance.
I expected better.

We grabbed just about one of everything ( Breakfast) on our trip to Yankton. Every item we had was delicious, full of flavor and tasted great even as a to go order. The london fog was perfection and the coffee was hot and tasty!

I was traveling from out of state and needed a caffeinated pick-me-up. This coffee house is absolutely adorable. We walked in and were greeted by the beautiful sounds of someone playing the piano. I was not planning on staying, but the atmosphere drew me in. My dad got a hot chocolate as he can not stand the taste of coffee. He took one sip and was in heaven. My mom got the Dubai chocolate latte and it was very good but a little more on the dessert side (we still loved it!) and I got the Honey Nut Cheerios which was AMAZING! We sat and just listened to the pianist play a few songs.
I loved it so much I went back the next day and grabbed another drink for the road. I forget the name but it was peanut butter and butterscotch. It was my favorite out of all the drinks we tried.
I will definitely be back when I come back to visit family! Wish we have such adorable places like this in Florida!

I left my car running and ran in and ordered a blended monthly special and they seemed to be training two boys who seemed very unsure of what they were doing and it was taking a very long time for them not being very busy at 1pm. If you needed to be somewhere in a timely manner I wouldn’t stop here. Ellie was the one training the boys and it seems like her training method wasn’t working out. She did ask me if I had something to say to her so I told her her training method needs improvement. The owner was very nice and friendly and tried helping me out.

My mom and I visited Yankton for a small girls trip. Muddy Mo’s immediately captured our attention but the welcoming atmosphere. I ordered an iced vanilla and caramel breve and it was phenomenal!! The baristas are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely visit again!
Needed a place to work remotely while visiting friends in Yankton and was pleasantly surprised to find Muddy Mo's. It's got a great environment and even has a little secluded corner that was perfect for focused work. Enjoyed the coffee and an egg/cheese/bacon bagel. Seems like a popular spot for folks to get together.
