Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

My family went for lunch today at 1230pm and there were 10 of us. We waited 40 minutes to get our order taken so I wasn't able to get food since I have an hour lunch break and had to go back to work. Couldn't tell you how the food was, they are still waiting for their food. Service was horrendous. I had to yell into the kitchen to see if someone would take our food order. Took 30 minutes to get all our drinks. The sad part is, they were not very busy and they had 2 people on the floor and one hiding out in the kitchen most of the time.

I was in for dinner, food tasted good. The problem was not that the female server was allergic to a smile or even attempting to provide great service, that is to be expected these days. The big problem was while waiting for my meal I could see the server bussing a few tables, taking cash at the front and just touching everything possible, and not once washed her hands. Then of course she brings my meal out, touching the side of my plate with her soiled fingers and hands. This is so gross, disgusting and just a complete lack of hygiene. I only hope this message reaches the store and this young lady is trained and forced to follow the most basic health department regulations. Good luck, Perkins patrons this is a sure fire way to get sick!

Breakfast cook needs to learn how to cook eggs to order.
It would also be good to use fresh prep on the grill.
Our waitress (the only front end person) was highly attentive & efficient.
It's time for re-upholstery in the booths.
AND
When it snows, ALL OTHER business establishments have a snow removal service. It is good to remove snow from the parking lot.
PERKINS might not care about it's customers slipping in the parking lot or on the sidewalk.

They are not organized. And lack direction on service.
Server to busy bragging and yapping with table. Others doing her job. Several tables empty but UnCleaned.

I'll give them a pass for the slow service because they were short staffed(I rated them 5 stars for service). The chicken fried steak tasted like it came from a TV dinner. My eggs were overcooked. The yolks were solid. Hashbrowns were cold. My wife just had pancakes and she said they were good. Everything was very expensive. Most entrees were around $17. Also, when I used the restroom, I noticed the toilet was wobbly, like it wasn't even bolted down. Water was leaking out from under it. That's unsafe and just plain gross. Call a plumber. We were in town for a school event. Next time, we'll definitely pick somewhere else.

Ian was our server and he did a great job. He remembered everyone’s drinks/food orders and was fast with bringing everything out. The food was great and the service was fantastic!
