I was very disappointed in the bias towards black calves. Every bunch that came in the ring was sorted and sorted if there were any red or white calves in the bunch. Some excellent calves were sorted off and brought less than the blacks, consistently...even if they were just as good of calves. I wouldn't take anything but black cattle to this sale barn. And the sale took FOREVER because of the constant sorting.
