I have never waited this long for fast food, 20 minutes for food is NOT fast food

The food is fantastic, but the hours are always changing 1 day. You can come in at 8 AM, and they give you breakfast. The next day they don't open til ten thirty

Employees here in Yankton Wendy’s love to open LATE and close EARLY. I doubt if their owners agree with this policy. Just chasing customers away right and left. Show up at 8am? For a week the lights are off, nobody home, no breakfast. Show up at 8:15pm to grab supper when lobby closes at 9:00? Nope. Most of the time you’re greeted outside by employee who doesn’t speak English pointing you to the drive-thru. I give up. The food tastes good and price is right, but you can count on at least half the time sitting at the drive-thru menu board saying ‘Hello?’ for an extended period of time. It’s been that way for years. I guess it is just difficult to obtain and retain quality employees. There are a few outstanding employees (Kendra for one), but they cannot be there all the time. Sad.

Although this particular locations has had a bad reputation it's under new management with new and great service. The food and breakfast specials are amazing. Plus point system for the mobile app. Is very good at 10pts. For each dollar and rewards are only 150 points. One meals worth. The drink options? They have a machine with I think over 100 drink options from soda, juice, and Gatorade.

I had a pretty bad experience here. When I walked up to the counter, the employee didn’t greet me or say anything until I said hello — then she just laughed at me😶‍🌫️. When I ordered two chicken sandwich combos, she acted confused and asked me what number it was on the board. I asked for no tomatoes, but both sandwiches still came with tomatoes.

While waiting, I noticed multiple employees leaving the kitchen and going outside to grab another coworker who was smoking a cigarette. The whole place just felt unprofessional and unorganized.

we ordered our food and they told us it was a four minute wait where we proceeded to wait 20+ minutes. Still no food and they closed down the wendys before we got our food.

Don't go to this Wendy's if you have a food allergy.
Asked for no tomatoes, and they gave me tomatoes. When I brought it to them to get it corrected, they just took off the tomato and gave it back. I am always upfront that I have a raw tomato allergy when ordering, and this is the only local restaurant that seems to have a problem with that.

The kids working would rather have you wait for 10 plus minutes while they talk and argue I stead of taking your order. So they intentionally keep you waiting until you pull off because your sick of waiting. I went through at 5pm on 7/22/2025. Would hope the leadership looks into this.

There has a been a huge difference in service at this Wendy's I have noticed a change in manangement and I credit their new manager to the difference hold onto him he's great!

I get my food through the drive-through after waiting for 10 minutes. Then i take the food home only to not have half of it, going back to the restaurant and having to wait in line for 20 minutes this time, when i get to the front they assured me it would be right out then after seeing 4-5 other people get their order i get mine and its wrong this time. I wont be returning.
