“unfortunately i feel this place is going slightly down hill , service was great but we went to order chicken and ribs (we usually have the same thing as we only go on special occasions) it was our anniversary and we order ribs and they have taken them off the menu completely,there was nothing said or advertised about this we were shocked to say the least this is a fancy restaurant and you can’t afford to have ribs on the menu ?? extremely disappointed,probably won’t be back it seems every time we go something has changed and not for the better . very unsatisfied. does anyone else feel this way ? not everyone likes steak and lobster.“

Unfortunately, the experience is undermined by the checkout screen starting tips at 18%, which sends a clear message that customers are expected to subsidize employee wages rather than the restaurant paying them fairly.

Tipping should be 18% tops!! I won’t be returning because of this! Pay your employees appropriately.“

“The wine we had was a bit on the weak side to our taste. It was the Australian red blend. Your polenta was outstanding. I requested a side of polenta with my Saturday feature Raviola Our meals were both very good and the pork lion was excellent. The servers were great but slightly overwhelmed for a short time during the rush. I understand having a small menu but it was very small and there was nothing we would return to try on the menu. Please do not get the wrong idea. We did enjoy the meal and the overall experience. It reminded us of a Vancouver restaurant that we love.“

“I ordered through Door Dash and had an issue with the quality of my dish. DD wouldn’t do anything to help so I contacted State & Main directly. They offered to issue a refund but I really wanted my meal, so asked if they would consider simply remaking it and I’d pick it up. They said yep no problem, and had it ready like 20 minutes later. It was perfect, exactly how I figured they would usually make it. Not only that, they have me a coupon for a credit towards our next bill - which we will definitely be using soon. 10/10 customer service and food.“

“Stopped by for lunch and it was so good. I had the taco salad with blackened chicken and it had the perfect amount of spice. My hubby had the crispy chicken burger with fries and gracy, you know it's good when he has a pile of used napkins. And their Caesars are very tasty.“
