4 stars for the lady who was working when I came in late. 0 stars everything else. Paid to sleep in someone else's stains and when I brought it to the staff attention, he didnt give a damn.
Terrible food tasted freezer burnt never again
We have frequented this business for many years. Since long before the current owner took over. On our last visit, 8 of the 10 beer taps were not working. I had to settle for a bottle for which I was charged a pint price. The special that I went for is also no longer on the menu. The owner tried to tell us that was only Thursday nights but, since we are only in Sk on long weekends, that is obviously a recent thing. The special that night was 2 for 1 8 oz NY steak. OK not happy but we drove 35 minutes to get there so make the best. My wife and I both ordered steaks medium with stuffed potatoes and veg. My came with a stuffed potatoes and so well done that it had zero spring back. I cut to confirm and then asked my server how I had ordered to make sure there was no miscommunication. She confirmed medium. Meanwhile my wife's order had also arrived. Keep in mind that she ordered the same as me but with dry toast. She got a steak overdone, baked potatoes instead of stuffed and toast dripping with butter. Sent back of course as was my steak. My second steak arrives and testing with a fork, I could tell that it was half medium and half well done. Well let's say that this was our last visit and that was decided before we finished our meal. Then the bill arrived. Instead of one charge of 21.99 for 2 meals as advertised, our bill itemized each meal as well as $3 per stuffed potatoes. I Should neutron the stuffed potatoes is hardly a description that I would use. I am not chef Ramsey but a stuffed potatoes entails scooping out the potatoes from the skin and adding some ingredients like butter, sour cream, chives etc, and then putting it back into the skin. This fake had less than half of the potatoes scooped out. It appears to be smashed with a fork and plopped back in the skin and sprinkled with shredded tex mex cheese. The bill for this complete failure of a meal with 1 bottle of beer and one 6 oz house wine $84. No apologies, no discounts for the lousy kitchen performance and certainly no 2 for 1. Do not go there with expectations. You are bound to be disappointed. The new owners appear to be looking for ways to cut costs and corners. That was most definitely our last visit.
Olivia was great , suggested us some great appetizer and mains and the food was awesome , did not expect this from a small town restaurant... Thank you 😊
Was there to order a Fries Putin , the fries were old and taste less , tasted like hot gravy was poured on fries sitting there for some time , food quality was poor
35$ tbone steak... um yes!
Not a true medium.... but was a thick cut!
I was picking up a vehicle nearby and was caught by a blizzard. Im 700kms from home. Showed up less than an hour to close, no one alive in town, no reason to be open. 121 was open, welcome, and not only gave us amazing service but ensures we found a place to stay and had breakfast in mind. Normally 5 stars for being considerate humans, but another 5 if I could for service and food. My buddies udon was the best he had apparently, my burger was top notch and our pints were cold and full. Good folk.

Came in here after a 13 hour work day for supper. As you can imagine, I was mad hungry. Ordered the jalapeño poppers for a quick appy, 8 oz sirloin with garlic mashed. Enquired about the soup but there was none left. No biggie, I didn’t come to a damn steakhouse to eat soup. Got a side Caesar instead… standard, enjoyed it. That leads me to the star of the show… the meat. It was awesome, arrived fast and cooked perfect. Wish I could get a charbroil like that on my steaks at home. Anyhoo. Other reviewers complained about the service.. no issues here. She was friendly and promp. It got a lot busier after I got my food and I didn’t see anyone without a drink and meals were out quick. I’m so full right now, time to go back to the hotel and let the food coma kick in. Stop in and check the place out yourself!

After I checked out I was talking with someone outside my room and watched the cleaner remake my bed without changing the sheets. We all know this happens often but definitely gross to witness in person. There was also hair in the bathtub.

We only ate at the restaurant. The service was an interesting experience; for some reason we had three servers. The first was a young woman of East Indian heritage who, I felt, did not want to be there. I had to call her back when she left midway through the order, because the other people at the table also wanted to place their orders.
Another server took our food order. This young woman was blond and much more friendly. She got the orders efficiently and whisked away.
A diminutive, slightly older woman was our third server. She and the blond server brought us the food. She realized I hadn't gotten my soup earlier than the entree, and I heard her instructing the other servers that it's supposed to come out before the meal. Perhaps the reason we had three servers is that they're training staff members.
The meal itself was terrific! I had the steak. The 8oz New York strip was done to medium perfectly, and without adding anything to it, had a very pleasant flavour. I was glad I got the rice with it.
The Pinor Noir I got with it tasted like it may have been Copper Moon. I would have enjoyed it more if the glass hadn't been coated in dried droplets that stood out from the glass; I scraped one away with my fingernail, it seemed to be from having been washed. Undesirable.
Altogether the pace was timely, the service was mostly pleasant, the cost of food here was lower than I expected, and the quality of my meal was mostly terrific.

Came in for a later lunch 2 pm, place dead, waited, no service, got my own menu, one waitress noticed came and got me a drink, other bar waitress was on her phone in the kitchen. She came to the bar and stayed on her phone the whole time didn’t look up. Nothing even after making noise and saying excuse me… nothing then she walked to the back like I want there.. so I left. Disappointed in the lack of service as I regularly visit this place. So down to the Nash! And what do you know service right away.
Great place to stay. Everything from the clean room to the fantastic food at the restaurant. Free hot breakfast. Staff was very nice. Would recommend to stay here.

Was very disappointed. Drove in from out of town for breakfast. We go there just before the breakfast menu ended. But the worker told us we could not order breakfast. Was very short and rude. Avoided our table till it was well after 11. Serve our toddler his drink in a glass cup with no lid. We have been there before and they served us in a plastic cup. When we decided to leave after being mostly ignored for 20 mins. I saw the server was gossiping with the kitchen staff. She was short rude and basically ignored us. This isn't the first server who has been short a rude. Very disappointing
