Appearance is kind of shabby and my seat was dusty, but the service was really nice and the food was really tasty. I definitely recommend this place if you want a casual bar setting. You can even play pool for free which is pretty neat. Overall, a good experience.

Very friendly service, made us feel right at home. Food portions are large, any beef burger is delicious but patties are a bit small for the bun. Clean, a bit dark on the inside, but beautiful, sunny patio. Great pit stop to fuel up, so to speak, if you're in the area!

We were stranded at night in the worst snowstorm, and these people took us in and gave us somewhere to sleep and food to eat, they refused to leave us stranded in the storm but would not take a dime in return for their kindness. He was willing to let us stay there as long as we needed, and later checked to make sure we made it back to Winnipeg. Turns out this kind citizen also happens to be the mayor of this community. We met this good hearted person at a time when we were vulnerable and he could have taken alot of money from us, but he was completely selfless and only wanted to help.So if anyone is ever traveling on the number 16 highway close to the Saskatchewan and Manitoba border I recommend that you stop by Red Beard's bar and grill. One day you might need someone like Jonas too.(The soup was amazing too!)
