Had a great pizza tonight. Highly recommend! Friendly service! Would definitely go back!

This is pretty much the first business you see as you approach the left turn to Candle Lake. We are happy we stopped by to check it out, so that we would know what's there, even though there are better services in the village. Clearly stripped down from what it used to be. Be advised that there is no public washroom (though they might let you use it if you are a customer). There is a bar with a small selection of drinks and a small handful of VLTs, if you need to get away from the campsite for a drink or two. A good selection of snacks. We enjoyed chatting with a couple of the locals and were happy to buy a snack bag as a token of local economy support, and wish the owners the best.

Fantastic service even though we unknowingly showed up right at closing time. The owner was so friendly and happily fed us an amazing meal. Highly recommend their food!

We stayed at one of the Chalets it was very nice couple things look like it needed to be fixed and cleaned inside but other than that was super nice cool inside with a tv and 2 extra beds. The deck probably needs to be done outside but nice and quiet little place. Would give it full bars if the main office was a bit more organized and cleaned out

Read the reviews and pay a little extra to go somewhere else.

Don't worry, I'll never try to use your washroom again.

Good food

No menu, no choice for food. Meal was prepared without any input from customers. No changing set meal. Poor/informal service, self serve for most things. Meal burnt and bread moldy. Jam from years ago. Cheap price but the worst dining experience possible. Would realistically rate 0/5 if possible. Lady, gentlemen was pleasant during our visit. Just not how a restaurant should be run at all. Could have been a decent meal with better communication and a few changes to meal.

Where do I begin with this place? My friend called this place few times to get information. We were told that the cabin is facing a lake and that the rooms have freezers, coffee makers, ovens, and are big.We were so choked up when we got there for our weekends from Alberta, but did not know what else to do.There are no freezers, ovens or coffee makers in the room. We had taken frozen pizza and other food that needed to be in the freezer that we ended up getting ice and keeping them in the cooler and having to bring it back. The lake is about 10 minutes drive to the cabins and the room was so disgusting that we are lucky we had our own pillow and blanket and slept on top of the beddings they had with our own blanket. The sink in the "kitchen" was the same sink you would use when you come out of the bathroom. The shower curtain was so small that the carpet in the bathroom was soaking wet after each shower. Which was weird because the shower was only a drizzle to the point that I couldn’t rinse off the soap and shampoo completely. We literally washed all the dishes before using it. That's how grossed out we were. The room was practically size of a shed and when we asked for the bigger room, the owner, Patti said no because she didn't want to clean the small room. We hadn't even taken anything inside, just opened the door and went back to her.Every time we talked to the lady owner, she would change her stories and didn't answer questions. When we tried to talk to her husband, she would become very defensive. We found the information we received from the lady was day and night different from the info that the man was giving. The "fire pit" was this round middle thing that was on top of the grass and you had to chop your own wood and pray that this middle round that that easily moved around was safe.Patti the lady owner told us that they are always busy. Beside my friend and I and there was only the coupe and their dog that owned the place for the whole weekend. The campground right across from it was PACKED.This place is not worth $100 per night. Maybe $50, but if you're planning to go there on a vacation and fun, don't go near this place.

Hopefully this place shuts down soon.
